Danielle Preston is a costume designer based in Washington DC. Her love of fashion, theater, and history came during her formative years growing up in Germany and actively traveling and exploring different countries, cultures, and museums throughout Europe. Danielle Preston holds an MFA in Costume Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She has worked as a guest designer at Sitar Arts Center, Catholic University of America and Bowie State University. Danielle has worked as an Assistant Costume Designer in NYC & DC for designers such as Dede Ayite, Clint Ramos, & Ivania Stack. Professional fellowships include Kenan Costume Fellow for the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute Fellowship in Costume Design. Danielle is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and Costume Society of America.
